Typical of the many tower houses which dot the Irish landscape, Tullaun Castle stands defiant against the ravages of the ages. Today, it has been renovated to enable visitors not only to see it but also to stay in it!
This print forms part of a variable edition producd by Michael, each of which is subtly different to the next. The main variation centres on the way the white highlight changes against the castle and on the stone wall in the foreground.
It is hand printed on 250 gsm Somerset Velvet Paper on a 19th Century Albion Press in 3 colours, printed from 3 different plates and signed and edition by the artist. Printed area: 12" x 12"; paper size approx twice as much again.
